From The Ground Up
Hartford Chapter
Basic Computer Course:
Learn the basic skills needed to use a computer and access the Internet. This class introduces computers, how they work, and how to use them. After completing this class attendees should be ready to take our advance classes. No prior knowledge is required. This free workshops is offered Tuesday and Saturday evenings.
Advance Computer Course:
Require advance knowledge then our advance class is here to help you gain that experience needed to use a computer more effectively in the home or on the job. This class goes more indebt into computers. After completing this class attendees should be ready to take on any thing that computer has to offer. Basic or intermediate knowledge is required. This free workshops is offered Saturday evenings.
Joy Rodney Scholarship:
Open to any Weaver High School graduate admitted to College. The scholarship is intended to promote sound academic pursuits as well as reward an individual who demonstrates attitudes that are inspiring and developmental.
Algon Grange Scholarship:
The Algon Grange Scholarship is so named in honor of the founding President of the Jamaica Progressive League Hartford Chapter Inc.
The Scholarship is intended to offer yearly financial assistance to a senior at the Dinthill Technical High School who is pursuing higher education.
